Marisa’s Story: Finding Freedom & Paying It Forward

Marisa has been part of the Ability Found family for a long time, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate this big milestone with her! After eight months in intensive care and rehab, she finally made it back home—and we were thrilled to provide her with a brand-new wheelchair that fits her perfectly. She absolutely loves it!

But Marisa isn’t just an inspiration because of her resilience—she’s also paying it forward in a big way. She’s donating her old tilt-in-space wheelchair, a hospital bed, and a shower chair so others can get the help they need, just like she did.
